Monthly Archives: March 2011

As you may or may not know, I collect video games. I play them as well but I find I end up buying more than I actually play. My gaming backlog is shockingly ginormous. For instance, I’ve got scores of RPG games I haven’t even touched. My wife has played 90% of them and has thankfully remained spoiler free.

Well as a creature of habit, I have picked up a few games over the last week or so to add to the collection. Sin & Punishment Successor of the Earth

First and foremost, I have scored a minty copy of Tsumi to Batsu: Hoshi no Keishosha (Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Earth) for the Nintendo 64 off of Ebay. As a big fan of the game’s developer, Treasure, I’ve wanted to play this game for the longest time and finally got the chance when it was released for the Wii Virtual Console. After playing it, I had to have the real deal.

There’s a surprising amount of English voice acting in this game. Most of it is pretty good, although the compression used for the audio clips make them sound a tad tinny.

Graphically, the game looks great despite the N64 blurry textures. This game was released in 2000, very late in the Nintendo 64’s life span (Sega’s Dreamcast had launched 2 years prior and Sony’s Playstation 2 would see it’s launch a few months later).

Stay tuned for more…

Well now, this blog has been a long time coming. I’ve owned the domain for for a while now and hadn’t done anything with it until now.

My focus for this blog will be, well, whatever I feel like. Be it video games, JPop Idols, web design or current events, I’ll be writing about it.

As you can see, I’m still working on the layout of the blog. The header image at the top will most likely be a temporary one, but it will stay for now.

So with that being said, please excuse the mess!
